New album with the Hellfighters, All Y'All, is fantastic. Kind of like Change-era D Plan. Really pleasantly surprised at how good it is. Fucking Pitchfork pricks who nearly ruined his career with the publicity-seeking 0.0 review a few years back. Now just get him over here for a gig .|..|

Never heard Travistan, but this stuff is damn good to these D Plan-lovin' ears. Although more Change than ! it must be said.

Change is brilliant, probably their best overall album although Emergency & I has some better songs, just too patchy in places. But it's quite different from ! I think. Just letting you know which D Plan you'll be getting if you check it out.

Patchy? Emergency & I is by far their best in my opinion. Every song's a classic! Wasn't too mad on Travistan but I agree that the Pissfork review was nothing short of cruel. Must check out the new stuff. Any mp3s? The guy is maybe my favourite lyricist of all time.

Heh?
Didn't this album come out about a year and a half ago?
Or has there been another one since All Y'all?

I second this undeniable truth. I like Change, but it lacks the individuality of Emergency & I.

The only thing worse than bad memories is no memories at all.

Anyone ever listen to their tour partners from back in the day - Juno? I was obsessed with this band for three solid years back in the day. Both bands share an earnestness and retrospection, with Juno being a lot more aggressive and moody.
Arlie John Carstens was probably my favourite lyricist and singer, after Steve Immerwahr. Of course.
They went on to form the hit and miss Ghost Wars. Juno are apparently back though.
