On Friday May 1st, after The Charlatans in The Academy, the band's forever lovable lead singer Tim Burgess will be keeping the party going with a special DJ performance in Hangar. His DJ sets are notoriously eclectic all killer no filler affairs, expect everything from ‘Tumblin’ Dice’ by The Rolling Stones, ‘Cannonball’ by The Breeders right though to Kurt Vile’s ‘Puppet To The Man’. It's only a fiver in with a ticket stub from The Charlatans gig, €10 without. It's gonna be a stormer!

the charlatans gig was amazing. They're the only band that can still get me jumping around the place like a loon.

Someone tweeted him to tell him they though the DJ set was shite ('could have been anyone', that said). Nice of them to let him know.
