the song "race" popped into my head this morning. bizarre. it took me ages to figure out what it was...

Love it. Had completely forgotten about it until my iPod decided to play a couple of their songs in shuffle mode recently and have been listening to it loads since. I can't quite remember what music-weekly scene they were rolled into, but remember thinking they were one of the better NME/MM bands at the time. Saw them at some NME gig in London back in the day. Their set culminated in one of the band launching herself into the audience to bate the head off some guy who'd been heckling her.

any chance of a copy? i had it on cassette. i bought it as a present for someone and made a copy for myself. the recipient didn't like it.

A very silly idea at that time, everyone took the piss.

I saw them on Dun Laoghaire pier one summer morning at a live broadcast of The Big Breakfast. Got up at 6am or something to go down and watch them mime to one song because I loved them so much.

good band, have Race 7" and a tape copy of the album somewhere.

C96 comp also had them on it.
