September at Backlash ends with another three room spectacular this Thursday.
In Crawdaddy we have a live set from Backlash's favourite psyche/dance outfit
Le Bien. Their live shows just get better and better and them playing should
be enough to have you book your Friday off.
Super Extra Bonus Party, like Le Bien are part of the new breed of d.i.y Dublin acts
who've thrown out the predictable drums, bass, guitar vocals format and created
something far more interesting. They comprise of Cormac, Mike (programming,
blips, production), Fatz (bass, guitars, trumpet) Gav (Guitars,drums); other super
extra bonus partyers are Rodrigo (Brazilian MC), Cons (drums, percussion), Steve
(guitars) Sean (production) and Nialler9 (visuals, design).
There debut album features guest appearances from Nina Hynes, Paul O Reilly
(Channel One), Iain Defector (Kill City Defectors), human beatbox White Noise
and Brazilian Mc Rodrigo Teles.
Super Extra Bonus Party will be unmasked & killed on stage this Thursday
In the club room we have the newly returned Funboi and Mark Allton throwing out
a mix of italo, disco, house & little techno too.
Next Thursday night we have yet another multi-room event in the for of our Underworld
after party featuring Jon & Sam on 5 dex + an Underworld history set from Philth in
the other + more tba
