[Moods For Mallards]

I had yesterday's stew for lunch today. Beautiful. Same again tomorrow, then I'm done. It's become a favourite recipe of mine, got it from the book Delicious: 5 of the Best.
It's a chorizo and bean stew and I've added to it as I've gone along (this is the 6th or 7th time I've made it over the last 18 months).

Not very summery eating.

I have developed a nasty reaction to chorizo.

Severe indigestion - now can't even have it in small quantities i.e. on a pizza.

Stew sounds nice.

My dad always makes them. Shudder. Like, he just halves onions rather than chopping them up.

mmm I love barley in stews. Yum yum yum. Stews always remind me of being a kid, they're so comforting!

Would you do a bean stew for a veggie maybe? A lentil stew?
