Nah it's usually quite quiet on a Monday which means you can actually (a) HEAR YOURSELF AND OTHERS SPEAK ! A miracle. Conversation's back ! Plus I make a point of not wrecking anyone's ear-heads with overly excessive volume.

I remember at one stage in my youth asking the Suttonians DJ if he had any R.E.M and was curtly told, "They don't exist"...

"Suttonians" was another virulent strain of teen disco in the mid-late 80's a la The Grove (which I admittedly frequented too many times by far...) Suttonians was of course based in Sutton and they playes stuff like A-Ha, Wham, Durannies, Sinitta, Spandau Ballet - think flecks, think rolled-up sleeves. But you could get locked very easily on the beach and get in. And I only went once.
