So I watched two of his films during the week.

'the naked kiss' which was incredulous and uneven, but had some nice moments of feminine violence.

And 'Shock corridor' which was much better. Journalist blags his way into a mental hospital to uncover a murder. Quite sensational, but brilliantly acted. Chilly.

So, any other recommendations and what to avoid? I've been meaning to check his stuff out for a while.

Shock corridor is a great film - keep an eye for [SIZE=-1]Sheriff Roscoe P. Coltrane in it.

White Dog is my favourite of his.
Turned up on Channel 4 around 10 years ago.

The Big Red One is also decent.

:)

Would be nice to see it get a proper release sometime.

Has anyone read any interviews / books about Fuller?

There's a cool French Documentary on him when he was editing BR1. It's on some of the DVD's. Probably South Street. Excellent flick too.

Yeah, you should. Its a smart film. On Fuller, anybody by any chance ever seen or know where one might find Tigrero?

watched it on VHS in Texas four years ago. Blazing sunshine outside. It's pretty interesting.

Some second hand DVDs on Amazon Marketplace.

Good man! I had no idea that had been given the DVD treatment, just presumed it hadn't. Though obviously I hadn't looked too hard.
Buiochas.
