Safari for Windows (1 Viewer)

Doesn't the new IE have tabbed browsing? They have it here on a few of the college computers on 'trial' or something.
I use firefox meself

I like Safari because as a program it's invisible.

I murderously hate the way when you click on the address bar in Safari, it doesn't select all the text so you can start typing without having to select and then delete it.
Argh.

This may sound weird but if you triple-click (that's right, TRIPLE!!) on the address, it selects the whole thing and you can just type away without having to delete first.

Also, if you wanted to go to say, www.thumped.com, you just type in thumped and hit enter.

Not sure if other browsers can do this. I know in IE you can do it but you have to press CTRL-Enter.

If you do a quick triple click in the address bar , it highlights everything which you can then type over.. at least on the Mac you can anyhow.I don't know about pc.
(and before anyone starts to whine about triple!!! clicking , it takes all of a micro second to do.)

firefox does tabbed browsing and draggable tabs.

I know and it also has some nice plug-ins , like that back page mouse drag action.
I'm not dissing Firefox.I just like using Safari .I'm very comfortable with it.

Ah, sure I'm saving two clicks every time I change sites in Firefox.
