Read a nice piece on the Russian Futurists/ Matthew Adam Hart in the current edition of Foggy Notions (smells as good as ever).

Are they worth checking out?

I hope there isnt a band called that, unlss they are actually russian, and futurist.

the album 'lets get ready to crumble' is good .....some really good songs on it....

and just cos its synth and pop/indie singing i don't think the comparison to the postal service is quite accurate.....

the newest russian futurists...Our thickness is not bad,,,,,i likes the first couple of songs......

saw them also supporting caribou a few weeks ago or around a month ago geez my memory is fucked and it was cool to see ....if oh so short a set.....

Damn i thought this thread was about the Russian Futurists also.

I was in the Vladimir Mayakovsky(the guy in my avatar) in Moscow and its an amazing place, floors/levels all sloping into each other, crazy art and manifestos.Everyone interested in the Russian Futurists should check he's plays/writings out, as he was one of the leaders of this movement.
Terrible name for a band though.
