Raw punk & crust (3 Viewers)

Good day,

I already posted this on Thumped but it seems that this is a more appropriate place. Basically I would like to know something about the Irish raw punk and crust scene. I have just moved to Dublin so I am rather unaware of the aforementioned one; I would be grateful if you recommended to me some bands, places etc. Thank you beforehand.

Hey Sergio. There's a gig on today in Dalymount park. The bands range from punk/ska to stoner rock kind of stuff. Should be good fun. pricse is €6 and it starts at 3pm. Here's how to get to it:

There is more of a Crust scene than a Punk scene in Dublin though!!!
Krimtank yeah I did like it, is the rest of ur band here or??
If so would be great to see yas live, it's handy enough to get a gig here like.

Unfortunately no, PUNK ROCK; I have abandoned them mercilessly. But I assume they will come and visit me some day, then it would be fun if I could arrange a show or something, although without rehearsing it will be totally lousy. It´s not that when we rehearse it´s much better though. Thanks for the compliment anyway.

Hvor lange skal i bliv her?

Hej. Jag tror faktiskt att ni har spelat i mitt stad Jönköping i Januari 2006, precis innan jag flyttade dit. Kommer du ihåg det? I alla fall, NDT låter jävligt rå och mörk. Spelar du med dem fortfarande, fast du bor här? Angående din fråga, vi har ingen plan. Vi bara flyttade hit för att prova något nytt, och om vi hittar job och vi gillar landet kan vi kanske stanna 1 eller 2 år, vem vet.

Yeah, we played there then...in some small youth centre place. Still playing with them, just go over every few months and rehearse do gigs, tours, write & record. We just got a new drummer and we're doing a few gigs in Germany, Sweden & Denmark in about 4 weeks, then a tour in Mexico in December/January.

No plan's a good plan! If you get to know people here you'll probably have a good time...I guess you're used to the shit weather. Now you just got to get used to ugly people!
