Been looking for an excuse to do a train tour around Ireland, it's 4 days for 110 euro, this tour with a few stops in random towns for pints en route could be the very excuse, some laugh train drinking with a gig every night, train stations in every town bar new Ross but can start in Waterford on the second day

Is the belfast one part of Warzonefest (presuming it's on this year)?

not sure to be honest.they said we could play that night either way if warzone fest is on or not
but haven't heard anything more about the warzone fest.

one week away....so dubs what will it be? bonfire in newross, laughing at cork people in cork,cocktails in galway, a short spin up to drogheda on the bus or warzone fest!

had a great time on this tour.
the quality of venues(and of them 3 non -pubs),food,hospitality and craic were as good as ive ever had on tour in any country.
and we didn't lose an arm and a leg either.even have a few quid towards a recording.
thanks a million to conor,teresa,decy,kenn,gab,tom,niamh,greg,crispo,babs,james and warzone crew,
putrefaction and fellow church burners for the good times !

Did you travel in a van,and did you own it? And if you did,presumably you brought a backline?

we had 8 people. eric's vw transporter van (small van but not a car van)with 3 people and backline and diesel opel astra with 5 people. (diesel car instead of petrol makes a difference)

that said. if i remember right most of the promoters offered that they could get a backline together that could be used if needed. so even renting a van or doing with a car(s) and basics defo possible to at least break even.
the hospiality,craic food etc will still be the same great quality.
