We'll be playing in Pavilion on the 31st of March in The Pavilion with support from Molotov Ape.
Private Underground Residence are Paul McNamara, Kevin Blake and John Machale. Exploding onto the Cork scene in early 2007, Private Underground Residence left bits and pieces of their music all over peoples suspecting and increasingly avalanched ear drums. Made from pieces of the ex-Limerick groups Kader Fire and The Kyboshi, and glued together with a piece of Cork group the Loser Lounge the band embrace everything from various genres and have been compared to having similarities to groups such as Fugazi, Battles, The Melvins and the Oxes. Refusing to put their music in a hole with pigeons, the band instead allow all it to run all over the place picking up the strangled vibrations of genre upon genre as it moves along. A debut album is soon to be released in 2012 and their debut single has received plays nationally and on various alternative music radio shows. 2012 is going to be a big one for PUR, and they have already kicked it off with a few shows so far around the country in February.
