Brian Mooney

Since the nineties Brian Mooney has played and recorded with
The Idiots, David Kitt, Jape, Si Schroeder and Beautiful Unit. He founded Indie Record Label Trust Me I’m A Thief in 2004.
Most recently he toured Europe supporting Little Green Cars playing original songs which are currently being recorded in studio. Using electric guitar and vocals, this current crop of songs seeks to keep the hope machine running
with words and chords….No FX…No Loops…….No FX…No Loops…….No FX…No Loops…….No FX…No Loops…….No FX…No Loops……………….

“A sonic technique that oozes character and distinction, rhythms thumped out on toy drum sets, strums on borrowed banjo and music that thrums to, in the words of Mooney himself, “ The pulse of the static from the jack-to-jack” Our advice – Don’t let this one pass you by” The Irish Times.

Margie Lewis
A classically trained violinist and jazz vocalist, Margie Lewis plays music from an unknown time and place. With her antique instruments and her rich, bewildering vocals she creates lush songs sometimes beatless other times pumping with electronics.
This time in The Joinery Margie Lewis plays music from the deep. She will be performing a continuous and mostly improvised live set experimenting with vocals, instruments, delay, pitch, loops and beats. Shut your eyes and let her transport you to other worlds.
