WED 5th JULY

The Nokia New Music Tour
In recognition of this an unprecedented boom time for new Irish acts. Nokia have brought together the forerunners of the current Irish music scene in one tour. Each artist is different, each act has been signed within the last twelve months and is making their own individual waves both here in Ireland and in the UK. This tour may be the last time you get to see these bands play on one bill outside festival appearances.

Director

Director are a young four piece from Malahide in Dublin. They are signed to Atlantic Records in London and have been lauded universally as one of the best acts to come from Ireland in the past 20 years. Their single Reconnect has been in the Irish top thirty for 6 weeks including two weeks in the top 10 and continues to be one of the most played Irish records on Radio this year.
Their music is dark, simple and moving pop that has drawn comparisons from Interpol to The Strokes.
Their live shows, electrifying. Director will play Oxegen this year in the Mainstage and will also appear at T in the Park, Latitude, Blackburn,Marley Park, Summercase (Madrid and Barcelona) and Vfest. The Band have just finished a UK tour with the Goo Goo Dolls and are currently touring with NME favorites The Fratellis. They have also toured with Hard Fi and played with amongst others, The Automatic and Keane .

The band are currently recording their Debut album with Uber Producer Michael Beinhorn ( Soundgarden,Marylin Manson, Aerosmith, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Hole). This will be available before the end of this year. The bands music is a perfect blend of energetic Ska, Rock and Pop.

The Flaws
The Flaws released their limited edition debut single 'No Room', in March 2006 and embarked on a brief yet explosive Irish tour wooing critics and gathering a whole new legion of fans. On the 1st June 2006 the band made 'Out Tonight' available as a completely free download from their website www.theflaws.com and undertook their second Irish tour receiving praise from gig goers and critics alike for their musical marriage of aggression and melody.
