ILL EASE
Ill ease was born as a recording project when an old 8-track, a haunted piano and a guitar amp with no off-switch for the vibrato were left in an abandoned auto shop in Brooklyn. Since then, ill ease has gone live and toured across the states and Europe several times in "a flurry of intoxication". The live show is rolling stones 45s all scratched and skipping to a noisy new York beat. Dancey dissonance that won't stumble home. A one-piece that sounds like a 5 piece. spazzy drum grooves with crazy guitar and bass riffs looped on top like sugar smacks. fruity loops-de-loopy-ist!!

The seething sexual undercurrent of a Velvet's record. - Comes With A
Smile

Like a moldy peach playing patty-cake with can. Bad times never seemed
so good. - Spin

A dark blend of low-fi, fuzzed out guitars, thrashy hip-hop style drums
and Sharp's pleasantly off-kilter vocals... 8 out of a near perfect 10 -
Alternative Press

Addictive, rhythm-heavy compositions infused with slippery vocals and
weaving guitars; when embellished with her outburts of 'yea' and
'uh-huh,' Sharp's songs achieve maximum bump and grind. - Magnet

Filled with sly beats and overdubbed vocals, Ill Ease makes slick rock
music that sexily slip and trips on itself--like a drunk friend whose
word-slurring only enhances her magnetic appeal... musically catchy and
lyrically intriguing - Venus

JANEY MAC
Janey Mac are Emily Aoibheann, Cathy-Clare and Brain. Emily considers the learned guitar. Cathy discourages it, tapping her foot, her finger ticks. Holding hands and basses they spit into the magazine made rock star crotches and swing their sick heads into the violent noise boom caress, radiating from the blistered fingers and scream throat-raw roar. Child-like choruses and logical incompetents flurry along fret boards while drum sticks are sacrificed in the name of an exorcismic hysteria. Visitors from improbable painted frequencies may bolt from the blue surprise with tin whistle toots and oil brush lamp lick. Virginity. Polygamy. Crane Fly. Telly. It is Janey Mac. Then Brain joined...

THE YEAH DEADLIES
The Yeah Deadlies couldn't come up with anything themselves so they let someone else do it. Tsk! Pretty much nails it though…sweetness!!
"And so it goes that the evolution of the band name now reaches into the Dublin vernacular for inspiration. Are we running out of ideas? Buggered if I know, but judge not the yeh deadlies for their glib title, and instead cock your ears at their myspace, and try to get your head around the clutch of rare loony tunes they're after laying there. There's four or five heads involved here and they seem a little bit, well, "touched". Amongst the influences mentioned on the site are mavericks like Sparklehorse and Tom Waits, two men who know a thing or two about taking a lighter and a can of Lynx to the songwriting rulebook. You can hear the latter on the industrial noise-funk of "AW YEAH ALRIGHT", which is a bit like witnessing Sly Stone let loose in a metal works factory. The shambolic organ stomp of "Funeral Suit" is less horror and more cheek, taking a much-needed pot-shot or two at the office-bound generation that we currently nurture around these parts. Avoid if you're a sensitive type working down the IFSC"
