A night of veritable musical treats, this is going to be special .First up will be local act THE VIOLET ROADKILLS, they’ve been hitting the practice room hard the last few months and we’re impressed by what there inventing, get down early and check them out. Also we have for our money one the most exciting bands coming from the London underground, ELECTRICITY IN OUR HOMES like a cross between UK DIY and DNA. Tying together the musical knots and pushing it into the wee hours will be Max Joy resident Micí Durnin.

With their art-house tendencies, a minimal sound and short sharp shows, they are a fine quartet in the tradition of some of the most interesting no-wave and post-punk acts, such as: Lizzy Mercier, Mars, DNA, Teenage Jesus & The Jerks, Josef K, The Fire Engines. With support slots for The Horrors and Blurt under their belt, a single that sold out within days and another planned for the new year, EIOH are looking at 2008 with wide eyes and open arms."

Graham (Guitars & Synths), Lillian (Bass), Damien (Guitar & Keys), Noel (Drums & Percussion), have been working hard creating a sound that they feel reflects there tastes (Silver Apples, Battles, Northern Soul, Spacemen 3, Can, Death in Vegas, David Axelrod, Serge Gains etc) and taking that sound to the stage. Newly formed and looking to the future, check them out and make up your own mind.
