Breakfast burrito:
Flour tortilla(lidl) heated over an open flame.
Scrambled egg.
refried beans(canned)
hashbrown(frozen but fried)
streaky bacon(chopped)
salsa(from a jar)
sour cream
cheddar/mozerella mix(from a bag)

wrap it up. crack a beer.
a couple of shakes of Tapitio hot sauce at every bite.
Alternate between burrito and beer.

mexico is one of those places where breakfast and beer just works... every day.

you were in oaxaca? I spent a night and day there; it was kind of unstable at the time though (october last year) so I didn't stick around. cool place though.

When I say 'mexican breakfast' I mean LA, Mexican breakfast.
Down to the 'Happy Hat', breakfast burrito, few cans of Colt 45, hang around Home Depot for some day work...nothing comes around?, back to the apartment for a few joints.

I actually prefered the 'Mexican food' i got in SoCa (san diego) than I did in Mexico itself.
Well, SoCal used to be Mexico, no? I think the best Mexican comes from SoCal is the best, or possibly Laredo TX., from what I've heard. Flying to London on the 18th for Mexican. Have never found anything that resembles Mexican in Ireland. Same with bagels, biscuits and gravy, pastrami and provolone with pepperocinni, etc, etc...
But where else would you get decent rashers?

Breakfast burrito, down at the car wash in Toluca Lake, CA, with loads of fresh salsa at 9:30am on a Sunday morning, while friendly Mexican men dry yer car.
TIP: always pay the person thats drying yer car, the tip before they start. Not only do they know what you expect in their service, but it also lets them know you trust them to do the job right.
I'm a bit home sick.
Pork loin with apple sauce and mustard mash for dinner.
