- Mark Lanegan Band’s ‘Bubblegum’ album has just come in at No. 6 in Uncut’s Albums of the Year for 2004. ‘Bubblegum’ includes contributions from PJ Harvey (on new single, ‘Hit The City’, and ‘Come To Me’), former Queens’ band-mate Josh Homme (‘Methamphetamine Blues’), and ex. Guns ‘N Roses figureheads Duff McKagan - now of Velvet Revolver - and Izzy Stradlin (on ‘Strange Religion’).
- Nick Oliveri will be offering fans an exclusive preview of his forthcoming solo record, 'All Is Forgotten' (Duna Records) on this tour. Songs on the album include 'One More Time In Hell', 'Demolition Day', 'Paper Thin' and 'All That I've Got' - a track Oliveri originally wrote for the next QOTSA record before he left earlier this year. The album is also set to include a new version of the Queens track, ‘Auto Pilot’ from the ‘Rated R’ album.
