this might sound a tad to cynical, but this exersize, while proving what many suspect, namely that most politicans are easily baught is pointless. lets face it, berty won't resign, this hoolabaloo will blow over in a week or so, and will be voted back in come the next election. the biggist problem is not the fact that so many politicans are corrupt, its that they know they'll get voted back in again and again.

Switched it on there for twenty minutes, just in time to see Joe Costello give him a total roasting. He managed to bring in Rossprt into it which was great.
Also class was Enda Kenny divirting to tell some minister "You'll get your cumuppance!, your the biggest scoundral of them all!" and the fact that a visiting delegation form the Polish parliament happened to be sitting in on the session.

yeah,say if 40% of the population dont vote and no party gets more than this,surely there should be no one in charge?40% of people dont want anyone,thats a big majority....

Its not that they want no one in charge,its that most people dont think it matters whether they vote or not so they dont bother,voting is the only time most of us stiffs get a chance to have any say of any kind, not very PUNK i know but fuck it

change?ive given up on any thought of that,new attitude is:just try get along without bothering with the politics of it and try be nice to people.hmm i may be turning into a hippy....im still fascinated by politics of course but as a vechile for change it doesnt seem to be working.i figure eventually people will come to the conclusion "hey,we dont need anyone telling us what to do" and then it will be a utopia.course ill be long gone by then but i have faith in humans as a race.
