great result in Reykjavik for the shels boys.
imagine they got through to the group stages? that would be amazing...

hopefully longford will get a good result against the swiss second divisioners Vaduz and bohs will do well against the estonians...

as well as the decent results of the cork city lads in the intertoto its looking like it could be a good season in europe for eircom league clubs...

Fuckin right, how amazing would it be if Shelbourne or Bohs or someone got into the group stages of the Champions League? Imagine if they got drawn against Real or Man U or something, that would be fuckin hilarious!
Fortunately all the teams from North of the border got mauled in Europe, as usual. Splendid.

yeah, so longford got beat last night, and bohs drew.
its ok though, if they win at home they're sorted.

the cool thing is tat in the UEFA cup this year there is a groups stage so if longford and bohs get through this and the next round they'll be in the groups!

that'd be amazing.

it also helps our seedings for next year....
