2000 AD's 25th ANNIVERSARY PARTY
Borag Thungg, Earthlets!

I, Tharg The Mighty, bring you news of an epochal event no sentient being can afford to miss - 2000 AD's 25th Anniversary Party! Yes, the Galaxy's Greatest Comic is celebrating its quarter-century with the Galaxy's Greatest Party - and you're invited!

This universe-shaking event will be held at Ministry of Sound, Gaunt Street, London (nearest tube: Elephant & Castle) on Thursday 28 February. Doors open at 7pm, and the event finishes at 2am.

Perhaps if I was doing me inter again...

But seriously the smell of bad personal hygene at that thing would be rank...

If Pete was in london today...

Are you still buying the Prog?

I only pick it up now to look at the price and go "Pfah! when I started collecting it was 18p!" in an 'aren't I great' kinda way.

And yes. I am kinda great.

Is Tharg gonna be there?

That was a great comic for a while - I started buying it round prog.270 or thereabouts until 500 or so...until mumsie fucked them out in the direction of Mr St. Vincent du Pauly...some really fine art - Glenn Fabry's stuff for "Slaine", Kev O Neill's for "Nemesis", (Mike ?) McMahon's for "Judge Dredd" and Alan Moore's story-lines for DR and Quinch and "Future Shocks" made it all so worthwhile - there was some serious talent in that comic...jeez....Tharg was a nonce tho'.
I'd kind of like to go to the party but imagine the costumes...ugh...

...and they REALLY FUCKED UP Rogue Trooper!

If it aint broke DONT fix it...

(Halo Jones phhhoargh)

Strontium Dog rocked....deadly blurb

Johnny Alpha is one such "Strontium Dog" - a good man in a bad Galaxy

I always preferred the comedy stories, like Hewliggans Haircut and Armoured Gideon.

I still read Hewlliggans Haircut to this day, amzing artwork from Jamie Hewwlit... who apparantly designs and animates a wee cartoon monkey band these days...

it'll never catch on...
