how would one add a reverb tank? (1 Viewer)

nearly finished modding to the point of rebuilding an amp - was wondering if anyone has ever canabalised a spring reverb from else where and stuck it into another amp?

would you wire it like so

pre-amp stage ----- -> volume ->power stage
I I
reverb tank--------->reverb pot

Add an effects loop and put the reverb tank in there.

You'll need an additional buffer and recovery stage for the reverb tank, being valve of SS.
Ideally this would after the last stage of the preamp, just before the PI.

ah grand, reckoned that might be the case - have such in the amp already(opamp) - but bypassed it to add the new tone stack, making it all tube - all the components are still in place so I might do it at some stage.
