The Irish aid worker, Sharon Commins and her Ugandan colleague, Hilda Kawuki, have been released from captivity.
The two women were kidnapped by an armed gang in the Darfur region on the third of July, almost four months ago.
Their release was secured following negotiation with local tribal chiefs.
