Its that time of year again.

now in its 9th straight year has to be one of the longest running consecutive diy events around.

cheap flights with ryanair to glasgow at the minute from dublin, also premier inn and easy hotel have cheap rooms if you dont fancy hostels / floor space. theres a camp site 40 mins cycle from the centre if you fancy biking over

Rumour has it this will be the last ever Fleas and Lice gig

party with bands playing on the friday night for those over then

Where? Ivory Blacks, 56 Oswald Street
When? Saturday 29th/Sunday 30th September
Starts at 3pm on the Sat and 4pm on the sunday

How Much? Hunners! No, actually it's only £12 per day or £20 for the weekend

This was really good, seen some great bands, Headless Kross and slomatics were really good at the slow and heavy stuff, the gastric band were great in a rezillos / x ray specs / off kilter new wave style, hagridden rocked and indifferent sun were deadly at mixing up the metal and punk without sounding hard rock, a heavier found on the floor perhaps would describe them.

there was a heap of people at it and lots of chatting / catching up etc and the venue were really understandign of the good natured messin. winner of a weekend!
