Garageband (1 Viewer)

Have it. Haven't done much with it.

Seems like it could be usable, but definitely toy like, you're limited to applying only one vst/audiounit to the over all master track and at most two on any individual track. Editing patterns for drum machines or whatever seems buggy/unintuitive.

The sample songs are hideous.

But then I dont have full blown logic to compare it against so I can't say just how good/bad it is.

The one I really want to see is Logic Hit Kit!

The good thing about mac's is they let anyone do stuff
I use my mac for video editing... and therefore consider iMovie a toy, but an amaaaaaaaazing app for the novice

I'd imagine GaradgeBand is pretty much the same thing... it looks cool, looks easy, looks like anyone can use it... top marks!

still... I wont be dragged away from my cubase

it's just a cut down version of soundtrack. just get that instead, if you can afford it.

I think Lego was about the extent of my fun at seven years of age. I left him at it for about twenty minutes and the look on his face when I went back into the room! He couldn't get over the music he "had made" Probably apple's youngest fan to date.

Wouldn't you have loved something like that when you were 7? I know I would.

I think I'm the only loser who didn't have an atari:(

These kids today, wha?!?!?
They don't know how good they have it!

There was no feckin' garageband software when I was a lad. We had cubase on a black and white monitor and an atari and it was good enough for us!

Mummy's are cool, but yummy mummy's are even cooler again.

I had an Atari 2600 when I was 10. I wasn't cool though. I used to play it with my mum.

My mum is cool, though. :)

Your right, it's that time of day when you wish it was half five so you could just go home!!
