Future Kings Of Spain - My Red Cell - Hang On The Box - Ludes
Dublin’s FUTURE KINGS OF SPAIN have just been added to the New World Disorder UK Tour! The tour – which takes in 14 dates around the UK in November – kicks off in Birmingham on November 17th, has been put together by Primary Talent International (in conjunction with Metropolis Music), and is the first UK foray for FKOS since their string of dates with Cosmic Rough Riders earlier this year. It comes on the back of the release of their latest single ‘Hanging Around’, which has been scoring legendary airplay in the UK and Ireland. Details are below…
Four unique young bands from four different nations join forces to go out on The New World Disorder Tour. At the breakneck pace of 14 shows in 15 days, the tour features some of the most lively, vibrant and revolutionary new music on the planet. The four bands perform in a different order each night, there's no musical hierarchy, merely anarchy.
Future Kings of Spain: hold a lineage that's by turns passionate, explosive, achingly melodic and beautifully noisy. The eponymous debut album by this Dublin three-piece proves they are the freshest, sexiest, deadliest buds on the branch of monarchical succession. My Red Cell: Onstage thrills, spills and pills, fronted by a voice that's been chewing razor blades, from the new Barry Island rollercoaster ride. Their self titled debut EP features all the best moments rock ever offered, was recorded at Toerag Studios by Liam Watson of White Stripes fame and is out November 17 on V2 Records. www.myredcell.com
Hang On The Box: Hailing from Beijing, are China's only all girl punk group. They play politically charged, anarchic music that finds them living almost outside of Chinese law. Their album "For Every Punk Bitch and Arsehole" is out now on Cherry Red Records. www.hangonthebox.com
Ludes: Raw energy, gypsy-blues, ska-tastic....in the tradition of rock’s great troubadours, this London based band combine a rich musical heritage spanning four decades, with an unparalleled sense of style and effortless cool!
