The full details for the second Fallout Festival are now confirmed.
The date is the 28th of August, a Saturday and a UK bank holiday weekend.
The venue is the Bunker Bar, Gorey Co. Wexford. Its a large bar about two miles outside the town on the Dublin side. There is a railway bridge on the way into Gorey from Dublin, turn right by this, there are signposts for the bar from here anyway.
It is intended to a fun, sociable end of the summer gathering with opportunites to socialise and discuss the meaning of life and stuff!
The price for all of the below is only 10 euro. Probably the cheapest opportunity to get your tents out in the name of rock and roll for the rest of the summer.
It is being organised by myself and Andy from Kilkenny
The event is being organised on a non profit basis. In the event (unlikely knowing my track record !) that there is money over after all of the bands etc have been paid we will put the money towards some other diy events or equipment or something.
The venue has a large dancefloor, sells veggie and non veggie food (or bring your own) and will be selling beer at their normal prices, no festival rip offs.
There is a large car park for vehicles, campers etc and plenty of things to lock bikes to.
There will be on site camping with portaloos for when the bar is shut so bring tents etc. We will be having fires in metal drums for socialising after the venue shuts.
The event is over 18s and no children or dogs are allowed - no exceptions - sorry
Absolutely no techno at this event, so please forgive us if we go over and turn off any such muck coming from your tent or car!
We have a bar extension so music will go on til two in the morning with fires etc after. There will 8 bands playing from 5-12.30 and then a ska and punk disco til 2 so bring your dancing shoes.
No cans in the venue but you can bring some for round the bonfires after, obviously what you do in your tent is your own business but please be subtle, we want to keep this venue.
Whos playing
