Last of the Lazybirds for 2004 - featuring, from Poland - EWA GIGON who sounds a little like Grace Jones, a little like Laurie Anderson with some hard and fast industrial beats and etheral voxcal loops ! Support on the night also as yet to be confirmed but there will be...(possibly GERRY LEONARD)

Thanks to all that made it up to Mudda Redcapz last week for the birthday thing - princely night, a regal buzz.

Admission is 5 europes and doors at 8 as per usual...

yeah my "interesting" comment was referring to the first dude who was in my opinion like everything crap about Doves. Or a "cock rock Northstation" to quote Tom.

I really really liked the vocal loop stuff Ewa Gigon was doing. Wasn't too into some of her lyrics about setting scarecrows on fire though. I bought her cd though and I hope to see her again.


So where was Santa? Perhaps I missed him when I popped out for a smoke.

I thought Ewa was brilliant. Some of it was a little out there for my taste, but the vocal looping was stunning, and the sax playing was great too.

I took some CD's to sell for her, and they were all gone in about 30 seconds!
