Re: ERIC BIONDO (Beatbox,Vocals) & Justin Carroll (Hammond organ) LIVE @ LAZYBIRD 11

Eric Biondo and Justin Carroll were fcking amazing last night. They should be checked out at all costs. They're playing in the project all this week. Reminded me a bit of the 'so watcha want' type beastie boys buzz, with the hammond organ and hip hop beats. Justin is just-insane (ha) on the hammond, big fat basslines all over the shop. And Eric was doing the beatbox with the interwoven vocals 'spaceships flying in the night' and something about making choclate cookies. The whole thing melded very well. Great tunes, arrangements, improvisations. Deadly deadly deadly. Pity about the half empty International bar - I can only attribute this to the rain and other distractions on offer last night, but all I can say is yiz all missed out.

i enjoyed this too. justin's playing is amazing. and the mouth-beats were cool too.
