Anyone use these regularly? any particular ones that are
better than others: is there much difference?

Thinking that these are the best choice for festival going, shooting film might cut down my drunken tendency to photograph every minute of every happening ending up with lots of pictures of knees and such.
plus if they are lost it's not the worst thing in the world.
I've seen some pretty sweet photos on flickr taken with disposables i.e. lovely tones etc. just wondering if people have a preferred type. I'm hoping for lurid colours but might pick up a black and white or two as well.

I've always used Fuji ones with good results.

Dunno how the long lasts but it's probably grand. Could be worth mentioning it when getting them developed and if they're fucked they could not print the photos and save you some money?

consumer film usually has a shelf life of a few years. the slower the film, the longer it will last.

best if it's kept cool and dry, though. heat will fuck a film up.

the oldest film i have used was over 35 years old.
