The Discotekken Live series continues, and as the name alludes, live music is the name of the game. A full live band will perform a selection of classic cuts from cult soul singer D'Angelo's LPs Voodoo & Brown Sugar, on The Twisted Pepper's main stage. The band will comprise members of Dublin's top soul / jazz / hip hop outfits, such as Mixtapes from the Underground, The HipDrop Collective, Butter & too many others to mention. D'Angelo is a neo-soul singer who released his debut LP 'Brown Sugar' in 1995 & follow up LP 'Voodoo' in 2000. Both classic cuts. Fans of soul, hip hop & groove based music will delight! This is a big, big project. Gigs like this don't happen in Dublin very often so make sure to buy tickets in advance & get there early.


Morgan Geist begins his EU tour with a DJ set in The Twisted Pepper basement. Morgan is one half of Metro Area, runs seminal label Environ Records & is arguably best known for his larger than large club hit 'Look Right Through' under the Storm Queen moniker.
