Currently holed up on a small farm near the ocean in La Buffadora, Mexico writing their second album, Californian six piece Crystal Antlers (Damian Edwards – percussion, Jonny Bell - vocals/bass, Andrew King – guitar, Cora Foxx – organ, Kevin Stuart – drums, Errol Davis – guitar) have announced their return to Whelan’s on April 28 as part of a larger 45 day European headline tour.
Released last year, their debut, TENTACLES (Touch and Go) was a hotwired trip of brainfrying pysch-punk backed up with a live show to match. The Whelan’s show will see the band previewing tracks from their recent writing retreat for the first time and promise to be nothing short of undiluted cosmic raw psych and soulful punk rock.
