The little person in our house managed to randomly hit some weird key combination that has caused everything on the screen to be displayed giant-size and rendered the computer more or less unusable. Anyone know how to get it back?

Is EVERYTHING on screen looking huge? Or just the icons?
Is the dock the same size as normal?
If absolutely everything is huge then the resolution has changed. Go to the system preferences and change the Displays settings.
If it is just the icons, CTRL click on the desktop and choose Show View Options and scale down the icons.

If it's not just the resolution, it could be that he's managed to find the esoteric key combination for turning on "zoom" in universal access. To turn it on/off, hit cmd-alt-8.
