converting MIFF to GIF (1 Viewer)

I've some MIFF animations that I've exported from the visualisation software I use and need to convert them to Gif's so that they'll be animated GIF's. I've used mediaconvert.com which is fine but I'd prefer something that I could download instead.

Any suggestions of a decent free downloadable media converter?

I've never used it on Windows, but on OS X and Linux, ImageMagick is like the swiss army knife of image conversion tools. Might only have a command-line thing though.

It is a command line only thing, I'd really like somthing other than ImageMagick but thanks.

Looks like I'll stick with the online converter so it's easier than command line stuff unless someone know the command line command for converting form miff to gif in linux.
