BNP have actually won a seat in england (1 Viewer)

Yeah the twats got two seats. Its all gone far right, Do some reading on these Jobbik lads that won a seat for Hungary.

Yeah, I heard about the hungary election yesterday - they're openly anti-Roma, and yet they got enough votes for a seat.
What is it about having no money that turns the whole world into right wing sheep?

someone in work pointed out that england doesn't do proportional representation, meaning the BNP guys had to get a fuck load of votes to get in. scary.

like someone else said though-once they get in they'll be exposed for what they really are,i wouldnt worry too much about it.

That is a bit of a bullshit liberal view to take though. They might indeed be exposed to what they are, but that is not necessarily a good thing.
Because by exposing who they really are they will give confirmation of what fuckwits they are, but at the same time they will have a platform through which they can spread their message to more people and potentially make even further gains by drawing in more people on their side.

But besides the two seats they won, they have also come first, second or third preferece in a good few districts/councils. But at the same time they haven't really made much gain so it means that they haven't really been successful and only really got 2 seats because of the shambolic collapse of Labour.

its a very reactionary election too though, every time right fucks up theres a big swing to the left and alternative parties which wears off after a few years. think it happened in teh 70's here.

The far right in Holland were very successful too, they are the second most popular party in terms of seats....just one or two behind the current governments seats. scary also.
