I'm from Dublin North Central. So I can go anyway along the Dart line.

I used to play the guitar then stopped and now I have picked up the bass.

Interested in forming an old school punk band. Basically we can start off playing hard versions covers of rock songs or Irish songs. But mostly want bang the bass along to some angry tunes. PM and send me a recording of your style. I find singing and playing at the same time hard, but will give it a shot.

Looking for soemthing along the lines of Sex Pistols, Pixies, Crass, Dead Kenedys, Ramones and Sultans of Ping.

Don't even need a van, just do gigs in pubs beside the Dart.

Great discog to be put together out of that:

'we hate you Rathsallagh mongos'
'FreeBooterstown' split LP with conor and the lads.
'come out ya bollix'- live busking DVD outside Bono's gaff.
'Grand Canal Cock' -'best of' D4 flashing themed 7" box set.

ad nauseum...

Would have thought Jah Wobble holds that crown:confused:

But if that's the case I'm putting meself forward for middliest bassist.

Anyhoo, who's gonna punk up a get this mofo's socks rockin/.|..|.|..|

Ah it was just a play on thread title, I'm all about the mids myself.

Didnt notice my misspelling.

I live along the Dart line, just saying i'd rather go to Brey than Tallagher even though Tallagh is nearer(I think). Anyhting within a bus or dart route. I dont have a car so I'm being practical.

Haha! I hope the Dublin punk scene is diverse enough to have a east/west split. The Dart versus the Luas! Ours accents are a bit lower pitched so we have more rockier punk like the ramones. They'll have mor ehigh pitched screaming punk like the pistols.
