YUCK
BRX Presents is delighted to announce the highly anticipated and triumphant return of London based, shoegaze noise rockers Yuck, to our shores.
After a painfully long absence from Ireland, BRX are thrilled to be hosting Yuck in Dublin's The Workman's Club on the 30th of April 2014.
Since the last time Yuck graced our shores in late 2011, after a roof demolishing set at Electric Picnic and a jaw dropping show at Dublin's Button Factory, the band entered into a short self-imposed exile.
After a line-up change in the summer of 2013 which saw Max Bloom take the reins along with Johnny Rogoff, Mariko Doi and new-guy Ed Hayes for the much awaited second album "Glow and Behold". With producer extraordinaire Chris Cody at the helm they produced a more laid back, mellow second album.
Armed with the new line-up and innovative second album, Yuck have headlined tours extensively across North America and Europe with support slots for the likes of The Pixies. Our delight at being able to bring Yuck over is only paralleled by our excitement at seeing them finally return to an Irish stage again, guaranteed to be an electric show. Definitely not to be missed.
Tickets will be available from Ticketmaster and usual outlets TOMORROW, Tuesday 1st April at 9 am
Priced €16.50 (inc. Booking Fee)
