Ah jaysus, he's still around. Can oft be found hanging around the Phil Lynott statue. He lives somewhere off Collin's Avenue, so you might find him knocking around there too.


Anyway, that ad....a very sad indication of the state of RTE, both in terms of how out of touch they are, and how tight the purse strings are, and the total lack of cop on they seem to have. Come on lads, a bit of imagination here, for Ireland like.

Yeah, its funny them claiming to be bringing us "a fresh new sound" considering what the eejits did to "No Disco". I tell ye, "Telly Bingo" is the only thing propping up Montrose at this stage.

That ad is rubbish though. Its nice to see rte doing crap ads, haven't seen one as amateurish and bad like that in a while. it makes me feel good that our national broadcaster still has that YEEE-HARRR!!! quality left in the allowing of content such as the aforementioned, to be broadcast on our sets.
