Remember a story where he had this massive falling out with Cliff 'the grinder' Thorburn. Seething animosity that had been simmering for months gloriously exploded in a drunken tirade from Alex. Match referee tried to calm him down but Alex was having none of it calling Thorburn a 'Prick' to which Thorburn responded with a swift hard kick into Alex's gonads. What a guy!! ( Alex of course.)

Didn't he also piss into a flowerpot during a live match in front of the audience back in the early 80's?
