We're running WAY behind on probably the only aspect of wedding planning that needs to be done in a timely fashion, and that's getting invitations printed. We have A5 postcard designs, colour on the front and black and white on the back. Two versions: one for the smaller thing, which is service and luncheon, and one for the reception in the evening, which will be a much bigger print run.

Basically, we need 'em printed up as soon as possible. Any advice on where to go in Dublin that'll do a good job quick, and not mega-expensive?

Anyone know anything about this lot? www.postcard24.ie They seem very cheap. Is it too good to be true?

We need to start sending the buggers by the end of next week. We're lazy fucks. Any advice would be well appreciated. There's a monkey butler on our invites, and we want to make sure people get them as soon as possible because, hey! Monkey butler!

citysickness got invites for our joint 30th party done with little hassle; if you're still stuck, give him a shout.

Thanks!

We should have listened to HMD! We went with the cheaper place and now we're so screwed and we still don't have our bloody invites. we're going to ring Masterphoto and a place called Chroma print first thing Monday to see if they can do a rush job. Means stuffing envelopes all night, but at least we're filling out the addresses tonight to save ourselves time.

This doesn't include the local invites, and we need to place that order on Monday morning, too, and then see if anyone we know can pick them up for us so we can post them before the New Year. We really needed to have got this done earlier. ARG.

Stupid postcard 24. You'd think that the '24' meant that they could turn a job around in the same amount of time it takes the moon and sun to do their thing just the once. Even at the highest rate it was 48 hours, not 24 and they don't even print the things in Ireland, which means their 'guarantee' relies on UPS bothering their holes. And they didn't even tell us that they send them out of the country to be printed. It was only when Mr Jane said that we would prefer to collect them ourselves that they said, "Oh, no, that's not possible. They're coming from Germany."
