    This is one of the things that has always struck me about it. The actual instrumentation is pretty conventional (there's a guitar, there's a keyboard etc.) but they are somehow put together in a way that makes them sound like nobody else - it's unique and quite weird. Would love an explanation...

    The context makes it come across more as desperation ("sometimes I get so lonely" etc.). Great video for this song by the way in case you haven't seen it.

    Yes. It kills me. Love this album. It's hard to articulate what's so good about it though. Looking forward to hearing what people have to say about it.
