It should be at least 9 minutes long, I want an entire side of the record that's just The Big Sky

All these years later thought I'd post the Prince influence

Just on this, he was known to be a massive fan of this album, wrote to Kate telling her and all. I think this might have been his attempt to rewrite Running up That Hill It's kind of lacking any of the weight of her song. Nice enough tho.

"Real" instruments would probably make it sound even more dated. Like something from the stone age (the 60's)... or a really bad attempt at sounding like the stone age (the 90's). And there'd be no fretless bass so it'd suck.

"Fight" might be overselling it in fairness. Nonsense, it's just 80's vocalizing, like Michael Jackson going "mama-say mama-sa mama-ko-sa", or Lionel Richie going "om bo li de say de moi ya" in All Night Long. Actually, the Lionel Richie one is pretty dodgy...made up "African"... so yeah...

Great piece travispickle. The album sounds of its time alright but I wouldn't say it sounds gimmicky or dated to me at all. I really like the fairlight sound in general on here. Besides, there's nothing worse than an album that doesn't even have the guts to sound modern, sure you may as well go...

The album is lacking in sax solos, I agree.

Waking the Witch as well. Two very silly tracks really. The Jig of Life kind of sounds like a comedy number from the Princess Bride or Willow or something. Did it make any sense live when she was acting it out? I love all the what I assume is fretless bass throughout the album. I just kind of...

The Big Sky is my favourite song on there and therefore the BEST song. Shut up Shaney.

I don't know my Kate Bush at all, am slowly rectifying this, but I do know this album. I prefer the non single mix of The Big Sky, Spotify need to sort themselves out.

Ah great. I hope someone tackles how dodgy a track the Jig of Life is.
