Whelans shiny new PA was sounding pretty good alright. although it seemed to die midway through the set and them come back on. weird. great gig all the same. that support band were pretty good too, and pretty... and good.

Miko Mika were really good, so were cap pas cap. No age, not so good i'm afraid. sound in this venue is consistently bad Ernesto's holidays from thumped must be up as wasn't there.

They'll also be playing in the Roisin in galway on June 5, and spailpin fanach in cork on June 4. maybe Gugai has a support slot going. Music room was great. poor smiley...

Hooray for humans are probably decent. the sound was pretty bad when i saw them. somewhere between PGMG and pop music... The Minutes are some sort of emo band, think panic at the disco but worse. straglers are probably alright at what they do, i just cant figure out what they do.
