    Jaysus cycling!

My greatest regret in cycling was while I was getting dogs abuse off a carload of youths I knew I was gonna catch at a junction. they were arriving to galway for the weekend, all presumably but the driver drinking in the car, hatchback with weekend bags stacked agains the back window. Could just...

I just use the bell friendly style like they do in the nederlandsch. I'd love to kick the mirror off an SUV someday though.

Marketing: Is there a way that everyone can break thier wrists if they crash?

    Jaysus cycling!

Yes. This was the same time that Google Ireland were putting out press releases about a: nobody was leaving thier homes and b: they would consider 'assisting in the lockdown' Which I read as don't make us GPS you picks. In that (which is also this) reality I would consider being a ping on...

I abondoned strava when I heard the french cops were using it to detect lockdown breaches because my morning route had 1/2 a km outside radius to make it a loop.

    Jaysus cycling!

I've backed off from cycling gear (stupid sexy flanders clothes) unless I'm over about 25km because i really like to actually stop places and eat lunch and look at stuff without getting the stares. Still wince anytime i see someone in denim on a bike though.

Also at @Lili Marlene I would say get out on it once or twice a week till you dont even feel 5km/10km. After that (and th 20km restrictions upcoming) you are open to the world of wandering on abike, which is the core of why I bother with it at all.

YES BUT THEY PLAY IT ON GRASS WHICH IS GREY how would you see it if it was green?

    Jaysus cycling!

The way I had it explained to me is that the wording wasnt definitive like grass is green or grass grey or concrete is green and more a case that that neither were defined (because really, how much contouring do you need in old ireland) and it was more in line with a word like visage or vista in...

    Jaysus cycling!

Its completely irrlevllbhvennt but I heard about a year ago that because colour distinctions essentially evolve with time* that in ireland for a long time green and grey were essentially the same color. *

They all basically imply that if you want the bike, bhring an angle grinder at which point cutting the lock rather than the fixture is the handiest.

Looks like it would be handy enough. What are you putting it in? Tarmacadam or concrete?

As long as it isn't one of those horrific 'slants' from argos or wherever. We had to scrap so many of those it was unreal. I'm not a bike snob, the place I volunteer is all about keeping all types of bikes runnig. I do have notiony bikes now though.

So the big towns with the social distancing (see wikipedia if you are reading this post 2021) are realising that they either can have space for cars or space for people and apparently its the people that actually will keep the businessess going to cycling / pedestrian setups are going to appear...
