this is something that has really pissed me off recently. last september/october i organised a battle of the bands in my area. i set it up so there was 4 bands a night, for 4 consecutive thursdays, and the final was the next thursday, comprised of the winners of each night.i spent about a month...

how in the name of jaysus does a shite little band get gigs without a demo? i have trailed my way thru' shiteholes in vain.. i have no fans, no money, and only about 4 original songs.. but i only seem to able to get gigs where i have to pay/bring crowds/stand knee-deep in pubesent goths...

wow! i go to loads of dublin gigs and this is cool! joan of arse are great, as are estel, dudley conspiracy or whatever they are called.. plus anyone heard of a band called winter blossums or autumn flowers or something? they have an ep out at the mo.. pink rivers..? i dunno!
