Totally, when I first came across her after going down a Spotify Related Artists rabbit hole, I had to do some extensive googling to see if she was either a pop music iconoclast or the bored daughter of a millionaire. The former appears to be true but she definitely has a financial free life.

This came on the radio on my drive home. My head was nodding. Love the cleverness of the production but no idea what it's about, something about Charlie Brown and snoopy being motherfuckers I think.

REALLY not digging Charli's new godawful sound.
Listening 2 the Kristin Kontrol album today, she'd be only delighted to be in this thread rather than an indie one
It's better than I expected but, kinda like the Dum Dum Girls in general, suffers a lot from each song being "in the style of"

Tried the 1st song on the LP, thought "what the fuck is this Roxette-lite shit?" and turned it off.

Yeah, there's a few "in the style of Roxette" tracks on it. It's a bit of an exercise in boxticking, or to quote @washingcattle, googlerock. There's a decent enough Madonna rip off track on there.
