Fender Stage 160 Amp with Custom Built Tour Hard Case

Both for €600 Fender Stage two channel amp with 2 12" Celeston Speakers. It's nearly 10 years old and is in near perfect condition due to being kept in the flight case. The reverb spring is gone and costs about €100 to fix but it has gone 3 times from travel so I recommend getting a Holy Grail...

    bring back "the slate!"

Seconded. Barely-literate daubings from a bunch of West-Brits telling us how to be cool.

    Steve Albini

Headache ep is noticeable by it's absence there. Great lil' clump of tunes...but Two Nuns & A Pack Mule is one of all-time favourite records...of all time. In The World. Ever.

Experience by 'young' Marty is well worth reading. Might give you a bit of perspective on the relationship between Kingsley, Larkin and Martin Amis. I just wish Martin Amis would have acknowledged the debt he owes to Vonnegut, is all.

"The formation flew backwards over a German city that was in flames. The bombers opened their bomb bay doors, exerted a miraculous magnetism which shrunk the fires, gathered them in cylindrical steel containers, and lifted the containers into the bellies of the planes. The containers were stored...

Er, he was eighty-five and his writing is *still* with us...so it's not THAT much of a loss. "And so it goes..." Martin Amis seems very fond of this Vonnegutism.

    Bitches Brew

A quick perusal of Wikipedia would suggest 'jazz fusion' runs the gamut from The Byrds' 'Eight Miles High' through to Jimi Hendrix, Steely Dan and Kenny G. Therefore 'Supersilent 6' is my favourite jazz-fusion record.

    Bitches Brew

Probably. I'm not sure what you mean by jazz fusion but it's a great record, nonethless.

    April ATP - Dirty Three

Er, yes they HAVE changed things from last year. In fact they've created a newer venue to solely accomodate the headliners. One downside is that two of the major acts are going to over-lap time-wise: (Grinderman/Neubauten...Dirty Three/The Only Ones...Nick Cave/A Silver Mt. Zion).

What Book Did You Read Last Night???

'Some Hope' by Edward St. Aubyn. Really good-similar to Graham Greene or Evelyn Waugh. Mordant, sarcastic but also sympathetic depiction of a family falling apart through drink and drugs.
