New artists announced for INDIE16 including Red Bull DJs Stage and Comedy & Spoken Word line-up

The line up for the Indiependence Music & Arts Festival continues to grow with more acts announced across the 3-day festival, taking place at Deer Farm, Mitchelstown, Co Cork onJuly 29-31. Already announced are headliners The Kooks, Bell X1, Editors, Walking on Cars, along with Idlewild, Ash, The Blizzards, The Strypes, The Frank & Walters and Hudson Taylor.

INDIE16 today is delighted to reveal a great bill for the Red Bull Bar, that includes Arveene, Disconauts, Get Down Edits, Stevie G, Eddie Kay, Kaily, Bedlam DJs, Deep Blue, Izzy Bartak-Healy, Aishling Murphy with more to follow . . .

Also announced today is the INDIE16 Comedy & Spoken Word Stage - curated by Andrew Stanley, it will feature Damo Clark, Totally Wired, Eric Lalor, Ryan Cullen, Edwin Salmon, Niamh Marron, Emman Idama, Peter Flanagan, Emma Doran, David Reilly, Trevor Browne and Marcus O'Laoire cracking the laughs - with Co-Present Podcast with Dwayne Woods, joining Tony Clayton-Lea's Culture Vultures, Wasps vs Humans, John Cummins, Lewis Kenny, Paul McNamara, Bubba Shakespeare, Abby Oliveria, Clara Rose Thornton, Julie Good and Erin Fornoff as part of INDIE's strongest spoken word line-up to date.

Added to the music line-up for INDIE16 today are Cronin, August Wells, Jack O'Rourke, Slow Motion Heroes and Jamie Stanton - who join the likes of Little Hours, King Kong Company, Pleasure Beach, Brian Deady, CC Brez, Saint Sister, Coasts, Stephanie Rainey, Wyvern Lingo,Otherkin, Fang and Bitch Falcon.

The new VIP Garden tickets and three tiers of early bird tickets for INDIE16 have already sold out, but there is still weekend camping tickets for the festival on sale at €119. Tickets are selling fast though and are likely to sell out in advance. Day tickets are also on sale now.
Festival fans will be happy to see the return of regular INDIE features such as the Beer Hall Stage, the Silent Disco, Festi-Huts and a wide variety of food options over the course of the weekend.
