Went to see "This is England" last night as part of the Dublin film festival. Was brilliant.
It's set in the early 80's, and is about a young lad who makes friends with a gang of skinheads. Everything is going well, until a friend of the leader of the gang comes home from jail, who has become an out-and-out rascist scumbag, and basically the film is about the effect he has on everyone around him, in particular the young lad.
I really can't recommend it highly enough: a great story, great music, brilliantly acted, all with a great message.
