Not in my opinion, but "far-right" is a surprisingly elastic term these days isn't it?So does that mean they're not really "far-right", just your standard neo-cons but extra pissed off with Policitcal Correctness or whatever it's called in 2022
Really good piece here on the Sweden Democrats, and how they keep up the fiery racist rhetoric but very quickly bow to Thatcherite economic policies and to "globalist" institutions
I imagine this will be the exact sake path for the Italians, much yackity yack about wokeness and trans people but 100% capitulation to the EU on every issue that doesn't involve demonizing a minority.
Ha! How about we fight this fire with petrol?Jane's analysis from twitter on their rise was that the more centre right parties started adopting some of the nastier rhetoric of the Swedan Democrats in an attempt to stop some of their voters drifting towards them, but then what happened was that the centre right voters decided that if all the parties on the right are going to start talking about this stuff then the disgust factor of voting for neo nazis was diminished so they may as well just vote for the neo nazis.
